These straight square shank 14K hallmark stamps are made of precision cut heat-treated tool steel.  Straight stamps are used for marking flat items. If you want to mark the inside of rings, use Bent Stamps.  Stamps are made in the USA.  Measurement refers to the height of the impression, not the width.
